Each morning, after I get to the office and begin preparing for the day, I log onto Google to check the latest Olympic's stats. (I watch them when possible, but events after about 11 p.m. are definitely cutting into my bedtime.)
Usually, the first thing to pop up is yet another Phelps gold medal. » read more

If the Green movement has taught us anything, it has taught
us that chemicals make us sick. It’s very obvious that the billowing clouds of
smoke from the coal burning plant are bad for your lungs. The pollutants in your
home may not be so obvious. There are many chemical toxins lurking in our homes
that are impacting the air we breathe. It is important to understand where
those chemical pollutants come from and how to heal the damage.

Two things can be said of EcoDiscoveries: our products kick
serious butt, and our people rock like hurricanes.
Claims must be followed by evidence. The folks at Parent
Tested Parent Approved and ShapeYou.com say we’re green cleaning dream come
true. But before you hear about our big fancy awards (one is even from Canada! Woo
hoo!), our people rocking like hurricanes is even cooler.

For the past week or so folks in the Northeast have been dealing with air pollution from the Ohio Valley--mainly from coal-fired power plants and industry. Those of us with respiratory issues pay the price for this notion that what goes up will not come down--only it does.

Hi there,
Here's a fun and easy way to contribute to environmental causes this summer.
Go to www.myentrypoint.ca, fill in the blanks to “make your own story” about leaving it too late and Criterion Investments will donate $10 on your behalf to David Suzuki Foundation water and clean energy programs.
It only takes a couple of minutes and it’s for a good cause. Try it at www.myentrypoint.ca » read more

Whether or not greenhouse gasses are harmful to the environment or if they cause global warming has been a very hot topic for a while now, and the topic is not cooling off any time soon. The EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) has been trying to take further steps towards regulating greenhouse gas emissions, but has been met head on by the Bush and Cheney administration.
Now they're in trouble. » read more

Can turtles fly?
I ceratinly hope so, because the Turtle Airship just might be the future of air travel - if it delivers on all of its promises. This airship doesn't look anything like the Goodyear blimp. It has a rigid exterior shell that resembles, well, a turtle shell. The shell is covered in solar panels that provide the ship's main source of power. When solar energy is not available, the Turtle is designed to run on back-up, biodiesel engines. » read more
