One dangerous, widely used and well researched chemicals that is found in many plastics is called Bisphenol A, or BPA for short. This chemical is found in sippy cups, the epoxy linings of canned food, baby bottles and countless other items. The organisations producing these products have fought hard and must have somehow bought out the FDA.
