A green car that goes Zoom-Zoom!!

Okay, raise your hand if you like to go REALLY fast in your car. Wave
it in the air if the idea of racing around hairpin turns on an alpine
road has you reaching for the keys. Now jump up and down if you would
love to have all this AND have it in a rechargeable, green vehicle.

How
many of you are waving that upraised hand while jumping up and down?
This a car is ALL of that and more. Sleek. Sporty. Fast. REALLY fast!
0-60 in 3.9 seconds. Powerful. A top speed of 150 miles per hour. And
yes, it's green.

The Endless Fight

It is not often that I find myself at wit's end because of an arguement. I don't usually let myself get carried away when discussing differences with friends. But there was one arguement that has yet to leave my mind, and that was about Global Warming.

I was in Wisconsin with a large group of friends. We all--boys and girls--met up during the day to go for boat rides, do water sports, or just lay back and swim. We were all having a blast.

One day we all went down to the dock to untie the boat so we could do some wakeboarding.

North America and Japan.
According to Toyota, the 1 million
Prius (yes, Prius is the plural form) contributed to 4.5 million tons LESS in
carbon dioxide pollution.

Enterprise Adds Hybrids To Rentals

Due to popular demand for more environmentally friendly rentals, Enterprise Rent-A-Car has added its first "Green
Branches" in the country at four locations in the Atlanta area. At "Green Branches", Hybrids and fuel efficient vehicles will account for around 60% of the vehicles.

These new "Green Branches" are a great move for the rental company, and show Enterprise's commitment to supporting the use of alternative technologies and
fuel-efficient vehicles.

Chicago Auto Show

I attended the Chicago Auto Show today, not that I'm a big fan of sporty, shiny, gas-guzzling vehicle...I was looking at all the new versions of hybrids out there. So far, I still think the Toyota Prius is by far the best hybrid with the best deal, but there are still a number of up and coming hybrids that look reliable.
