    The folks at www.greasecar.com are doing some great things to recycle some of the cooking oil that restaurants otherwise pay to have disposed. "Restaurants can produce as much as 100 gallons of waste oil per week, which they're willing to give away."

    Greasecar makes a converter for diesel engines that will let your car run on the used cooking oil. It costs just under $1000. They've been at it for a few years now and have built up quite a business.  These converters work with both old and new diesel engines. » read more
