Q: How competitive is the A: The Greenopolis Foundation will fund as many projects as its annual resources allow; each year the Greenopolis team will strive to raise funding. Q: My project budget exceeds the maximum award. If I include the entire project budget in my proposal, will my project still be considered for funding? A: If the project exceeds $1,000, specify which items would actually be covered by the grant; carefully review the grant guidelines to ensure that those items which best fit the grant are chosen. Q: I am a public school having difficulty locating my EIN number. What is the best way to obtain this information? A: The EIN field may remain blank. All applicants that are a part of the public school systme are eligible to receive funding from the Greenopolis Foundation. Q: How will I know that you have successfully received my online application? A: After the application has been received by Greenopolis, a confirmation email will be sent. Note that a copy of the completed application should be saved prior to submitting it online, in the event of an error with transmission and for future reference. Q: How will I know if my application is selected for funding? A: Within forty (40) days after the grant deadline, successful applicants will be notified by email; a list of all awardees will be posted to Greenopolis.com. Q: What is the time frame from when I submit my grant application to when my program will potentially receive funding? A: In most cases funds will not be disbursed until the grant has been completed and all requirements fulfilled; extenuating circumstances may warrant a review for approval of disbursement prior to completion.
