Essentially words to describe how I am feeling right now just simply do no exists. The past 24 hours I have been frenzied with a tremendous amount of exploration, family time and learning... Oh yeah and then there is that cross country bike ride across America I am about to embark upon!

Living primarily in the western portion of the United States for the past 6 years makes it very difficult to see family when I would like. Beyond that… family getaways are typically a decade in between one another.

All of my life I grew up in and around the Amish community in Lancaster/ Lebanon, PA and even though we were a few miles apart we were lifetimes away. I have never spoken to nor spent time with the Amish. We had a simple relationship. I respected them and gave them privacy and they returned the favor.

So today was day 4 and I had the privilege of spending another day on the Grassland Organic Farm here in Skowhegan, Maine.
