How To Make a Clock Using a Record

Tools and Materials Needed

1 record
1 wall clock
Duct tape or hot glue
Metallic pen (optional)

Instructions on How To Make a Clock Using a Record:

Pop the cover off of the clock.
Remove the second, minute and hour hands.
Remove the mechanism from the back of the clock.
Insert it through the hole of the record.
Attach the mechanism to the record with either hot glue or duct tape.
Re-attach the second, minute and hour hands.
You can then add the numbers to the clock with your metallic pen or get creative and decorate the face of the clock.
My clock mechanism didn't have a way for it to be hung, so I had to lean it up against a wall.
You can take this project a step further and make a Salvador Dali melting clock.
