We want to reward you for your actions. That's why we created Greenopolis Rewards. You can earn points by recycling in our Greenopolis Recycling Kiosks, blogging and commenting on Greenopolis and by recycling at home in selected cities. These points can then be traded in on coupons for meals, entertainment, discounts and more.
Our Greenopolis Recycling Kiosks are a big part of our commitment to conservation, recycling and tracking waste to resources. This Tracker shows the number of bottles, cans and other waste these machines have collected so far. Check our Kiosk Locator on our home page for a Greenopolis Recycling Kiosks near you.
I read about this project on Yahoo!Green's article Recycling Your Coffee Grinds and found the directions on how to do it on eHow.
Summary: This DIYfacial mask is supposed to exfoliate and revitalize your face. It's definitely much cheaper than buying any of those items in the store.
Tools and Materials Needed: • 1/4 cup of coffee grounds • 1 egg white • Bowl
Instructions on How To Make a Coffee and Egg White Facial Mask: • Add coffee grinds and egg white to bowl and mix together. • Massage into face. • Let air dry. (Took about 20 minutes for mine to dry.) • Rinse off with cool water.
My Take on the Project To be honest, after doing this my face did feel a bit revitalized and good. I didn't want it to, but it did.
My recommendation would be to do this before going into the shower and washing off while in the shower because it made a mess in my sink.
If you are a coffee drinker and egg eater, I'd definitely do this more often.
