When we were young we always heard our parents say, “Don’t play with your food.” That’s certainly not the case when we get older because sometimes playing with our food means making unique pieces of art. Two unlikely sources that have inspired many artists to create amazing pieces of art are fruits and vegetables. Fruits and veggies are the perfect artistic material because they’re easy to sculpt and shape, and the added bonus is that after you appreciate the art, you can eat it!

I appreciate serious, dramatic-themed artwork just as much as the next gal, but I’m also a sucker for something that can make me laugh. That’s why I found the following edible veggie and fruit artwork pictures to share with you. These are hilarious, and they’re all 100% natural!

Now that you’ve been inspired to play with your food, I suggest that you go to your fridge or garden and let the creative juices flow. Just remember to wipe up the juices and compost the leftovers.
