Pug-Inspired Art Made from Recycled MaterialAttention pug owners! Here are some wildly creative and utterly adorable examples of recycled art inspired by the cute canine.
I love my pug. Her name is Isabella, and for the last 4 years she has brought me nothing but happiness (and endless nights of loud pug-snoring). Although she lacks the ability to sleep silently, she definitely makes up for it by being adorable and well mannered. Yes, I know that many people think that pugs are ugly, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and I think that my pug is cute. See for yourself! 1. Recycled Scrabble Tile Pug Pendant This cute pendant is made from an old Scrabble tile. 2. Peace Love and Pugs This silk-screened print by Kevin McCormick is printed on recycled poster paper. 3. Yardbird – Pug Puppy This yard decoration is made from recycled metal. 4. Handmade Pug Dolls These cuddly critters were made from recycled burlap and buttons. This necklace is made from 100% recycled metal and fair trade gems. 6. Recycled “Junk” Pug Sculpture This colorful pug was designed by Leo Sewell, an artist who creates objects with recycled plastic, metal and wood. 7. Handmade Pug Recycled Light Bulb Ornament This festive decoration is made with clay and an old burned out light bulb. 8. Pug Pillow This pillow is made with 99% recycled material and can even be unstuffed and hung up as a wall decoration. 9. Pug Magnets The pictures for these magnets were printed on 100% recycled paper. As you can see, pugs can be cute, both in real life and in art. If you have any pug-inspired art, I’d love to see it!
