Sea Bags Turn Old Sails Into Cute Totes

Planning a Labor Day getaway? Pack your essentials in a fun, stylish and oh-so sturdy Sea Bags tote. They’re hand-sewn from recycled sails.

Since 1999, Sea Bags owners Hannah Kubiak and Beth Shissler have traded, found, bought and bartered used sails to create their unique line of Marine-themed carryalls.

Each bag is inspired by the sea and the sail used to make it.

The designs vary in color, pattern and texture, so no two are alike.

Sea Bags have rope handles that are hand-spliced in Portland, Maine. Sea Bags are the only nautical totes that have this unique feature.

Some designs reflect the neon color block buoys that dot the Maine coastline.

New this year, the Celebrate A Cure bag. 50% of all proceeds go to the Maine Cancer Foundation.

They’re are as many styles of Sea Bags as there are days in the summer. You’ll have a hard time choosing just one. All are durable, water resistant and washing-machine friendly. They come in large, medium and small sizes.

These buoyant Sea Bags creations have been around the world before they ever leave the store. You can welcome one of your own home today.
