Deans Beans No Co2 Coffee

Dean is a coffee rock star! Every roast and variety is super high quality. In college I had the opportunity to live near a shop that sold their coffee exclusively. This variety is nice and bright but not bitter or sharp, excellent for the morning and fabulous with food. of all the fairly traded and organically grown coffee I've tasted, Dean's is the best. If I drink other coffee, I feel sick from the chemicals. Dean even does decaf with eco-ethics and flavor. There is not enough praise that can go to this company. I lived on a coffee finka and I've seen first hand just how important ethical trade and growing practices are. Dean's beans are yummy, eco-smart, and humane.

Thanks, Terence! We created NoCO2 coffee as an educational vehicle about carbon in our daily lives, and tried to come up with a solution that mitigated the carbon in a way that was direct, real and offered benefits to the farmers as well. NoCO2 has been a real success for the farmers of Pangoa and for us as well!
We are now looking to expand this program coffee region by coffee region around the world to the thirteen countries we work in. This will take a few years as we are small and also want to insure that each time we set up a program it is real, not fluff. We started to do this in Ethiopia last year and quickly realized that the organization we had contacted couldn't do what they said they would, and rather than misrepresent what we were doing, we pulled the plug. The lesson we got out of that was that we will only work directly with our farming cooperatives on this project, not with intermediary organizations. That makes it more difficult and time consuming for us, but guarantees that what we say we are doing is what we are actually doing.
So hopefully you can soon try some NoCO2 coffee from Ethiopia, Guatemala and beyond from Dean's Beans!
