Sanyo Unveils Super-Efficient Lab Freezers for Biomedical Industry
 |
Aug. 27, 2008 - Sanyo has redesigned its refrigeration systems to boost energy efficiency and lower operating costs for biomedical laboratory facilities.
Internal testing shows that the new "ultralow" freezers are 25% more efficient than similarly sized units, according to Sanyo. They also maximize lab space via higher-density storage, emitting less heat into the laboratory and therefore minimizing air conditioning costs per box capacity by up to 25%.
"Whether your facility is seeking LEED certification or incorporating more sustainable practices, our ultralow freezers provide a more energy-efficient environment," says Deepak Mistry, Sanyo's strategic marketing manager.
