Electric Cars VS Normal Car

alx10mgmg

Most people think Electric cars are better than Reggular cars, but if your a big driver you wouldnt be able to use it.

Electric cars only last about 30 minutes until you have to charge them so most people wont buy them. On the otherhand regular cars can last as long as you put fuel in it

Eletric cars are for people who dont drive a lot. Regular cars are for big drivers

Some new tecnologies are ben developed, and various model can last very more than 30min,
take a look at: Tesla - http://www.teslamotors.com/efficiency/how_it_works.php
, in the EV World - http://www.evworld.com/, also
in Treehugger - http://www.treehugger.com/files/2007/08/green-basics-electric-cars.php, and you'll see some cars that can last more than 30min.

Elsewhere, i think that the major problem at now is the procedence of the energy employed to recharge this cars, in example of U.S., where most part of the Eletric Energy consumed is provenient of Thermoelitics, this car or the use of then isn't so Clear as most people says.

But, as i say, new tecnogyies are been developed, as the Flywheel Energy Storage system - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flywheel_energy_storage
and better than that the Motors that use AIR, yes air, as the combustible... http://www.theaircar.com/acf/.
by that, i hope it's new technologyies come up shortly, specialy the AIR Car.

ReTooling America

fishing bob2.jpg

In the early 1970's a ceremony was held where several large cars were buried. It was a symbolic funeral for gas guzzling cars. Perhaps it is time that we do the same for the concept of the "big driver." Pretty soon this will become a luxury of our past and it should.

The coming train wreck is going to make most of this discussion moot, but one thing that we can do to dampen the effect of impact is to retool our lifestyles and our transportation systems. It is really not a question of whether or not we will have to do but rather whether or not it is done in a well thought out manner. Start thinking and preparing for change.
