When I saw this secret and realized it was so unbelievably correct, it made me start laughing.  As much as I don't want gas and other prices to continue increasing, I have noticed friends and relatives being more cautious with their spending and driving, and even being more eco-friendly or conscious.

 Its a shame that people so not start changing until something negative such as high costs hits them in the face, but I guess if that is what is needed to get change initiated, then so be it. 

 And how morally aggravating is it that most people don't do the right thing unless there is another reason (besides being right). buy a hybrid because its cheaper on gas, don't use paper plates because its cheaper, shut off lights and unplug appliances because it save money on the electric bill etc etc. Money is the biggest motivator there is. If it will save people money, they will do it. For now, as long as it gets people moving that is fine by me. I know that my motivations are saving the planet on the grand scheme of things and not saving a dollar or two today.  Hopefully, the money motivated people will eventually turn into people who actually care about the planet!
