Flowers can help too!

Some people underestimate the power of plants. The reality is that environmentalists focus too much on the recent depletion of trees. The thing is that normally people don't realize how much flowers can help the air around you! summer flowers last from around may to august (depending on when you plant them) and if you want your annuals to last through the winter, then when they are in bloom, pluck off the dead flowers to avoid them from "going to seed." Of course the obvious thing to is to always water your plants! There are also special vitamins that you can buy for your flowers to help growth and how long they last. Lastly, flowers, like trees, live on carbon dioxide and omit oxygen. So it is easy to see how much flowers can help our environment w/ love Rebecca »
