This annual institute is designed for faculty teams, curriculum supervisors and their teams and individuals who are interested in addressing these and any other questions you have about designing curriculum units that educate for sustainability. For those schools that are ready for vertical and lateral curriculum mapping and integration of EfS across the curriculum, time will be set aside for “big picture planning” as well.

PRESERVING THE ETHNOSPHERE! What does it matter if our cultures fade away? We think it matters a lot! Please join The Cloud Institute (www.cloudinstitute.org) for its upcoming Advanced Summer Institute for K-12 teachers that will cover the importance of art and culture (the ethnosphere) in our lives and thus, in the classroom. Methodologies include photography, oral storytelling, interviewing, and exploratory field trips. The conference is here in New York City (FIT, 7th Ave and 28th St) and will be July 28-August 1st (9-4). The cost is $750.
