Green roofs galore, 12,000 acres devoted to public parks and waterfront space, four city projects rated "Platinum" (the highest rating) by the U.S. Green Building Council...wow! It's been amazing to watch Chicago transorm itself from Smog Central to a leading U.S. green city. What better way to celebrate what's going well than with Chicago Green Festival 2008!!!

Okay, okay so it’s a bit later than expected. But I really wanted to tell you guys about the Green Christmas I had this year.
Iwanted to write and tell you about it earlier, but I couldn’t because Ididn’t want my loved ones finding... Latest Forum TopicI have an older car that gets about 25 miles to the gallon. I'm thinking about getting a hybrid, but the old car still has a lot of miles left on it. I'm thinking that if I change my driving habits and reduce my miles driven by 30%, that's equivalen... I wish we could that kind of concept to carry to other parts of the country, because that is definitely something I'd want to be a part of.

I know but that's years away.
I'm hoping to plan something of a similar idea but with an bigger emphasis on music to attract the younger generation.
That is GREAT!
I hope more cities take an active part in providing solutions!
