Little Things to Help the Environment

Here are 6 little ways to help the environment: 1: Turn lights off before you leave a room - that way energy isn't wasted. 2: Unplug all electronics after usage - you may not know this, but even if the console is off and plugged in, it still uses energy! 3: Recycle your plastics, glasses, and newspapers - that way they can be made into something new, and won't end up in our bodies of water. 4: Use BOTH sides of paper when you write - it will make our air cleaner because many more trees will be saved. 5: Buy a hybrid car - hey, they conserve energy! 6: If you can, travel by plane instead of ship whenever possible - you will stop pollution! Okay, okay so it’s a bit later than expected. But I really wanted to tell you guys about the Green Christmas I had this year.

While not everyone can buy a hybrid car or travel by ship or plane, everyone can do the small things like turning off lights when not in use. We all have to look for ways to improve our environment so our children, our grand children and our great grand children can enjoy this planet to the same extent we have been able to do. Cherish our natural resources.. They are really the most important things we can pass on.
