Divorce Hurts the Environment
I was reading an article in the news the other day, and the headline struck me as odd. It read "Divorce Hurts the Environment". Admittedly, I was skeptical, thinking that this was simply another effort by liberals to scare the public. However, after reading the article, it became perfectly obvious that the authors of the study were correct. It seems that families that split use twice as many resources as when they were together. Multiple homes, showers, resource use all doubles when families co-locate. Obvious, right?

Wow its so obvious! Plus the lugging around kids back and forth from homes probably wastes tons of gas...
..Lisa..
I think that if you moved into a solar house you would be one less person sucking up power then if you lived in a standerd house I think you thinking is off.
at first look the question posed didn't make sense, but then if you think of the relocation, energy use at two locations, transportation costs for weekend visitations; certaintly divorce would hurt the environment
Todays landfills are tommorrows archaeological digs!
So by that same logic, singles lifestyle hurts the enviroment? Because single people live in separate dwellings. Okay I'll accept carpooling but I have to draw the line here, it's pushing it.
wow i read the headline and i was like "no way...how?" then after reading the article it made perfect logical sense i guess i didnt truley think abut it until i read it.
