What’s emission-free, runs on an electric battery and is shaped like a green pea?

It’s Chrysler’s new GEM PeaPod, and it’s one of the most innovative and eco-friendly electric vehicles in production.

This sleek vehicle, which will be available in a 2-seater, 4-seater and 6-seater model in 2009, is the first in a series of green vehicle launched by Chrysler’s GEM.

Not only will the vehicle incorporate recycled and recyclable materials in its construction, but it will also have mesh seating for increased air circulation

And for all you tech geeks out there, the vehicle will have a center console specifically designed for connecting iPods and iPhones.

This is one of the coolest green vehicles we have seen in a long time, and with its zero carbon footprint it will do wonders for pollution.

It looks like GEM’s name change to GreenEcoMobility will suit the company just fine.
