Nissan to Manufacture Electric Cars
At a news conference in Tokyo, Carlos Ghosn, the Chief Executive of Nissan, announced that the company is planning to mass-produce electric cars within the next five years. With the rising concern of global warming and people wanting more green vehicles, Ghosn says that Nissan is hoping to become the leader in zero-emission vehicle technology.

We need to look at and assess the greenness of every step in the life cycle of each and every artefact that we produce and use. When one drives such a car it would seem that there are no polluting emissions but what is the environmental impact of the production of the car and its fuel and of its ultimate disposal the article does not say and these are very important too!
