Town in Missouri Powered by Wind

A small town in Missouri known as Rock Port has become the first community in the U.S. to operate completely on wind power. According to a map published by the U.S. Department of Energy, Missouri has the highest concentrations of wind resources, so Rock Port is using four wind turbines out of a larger set of 75 located across three counties to gather its power.
