The US Environmental Protection Agency’s Safer Detergents
Stewardship Initiative (SDSI) recognizes environmental leaders like
EcoDiscoveries who voluntarily commit to the use of safer surfactants. The EPA
has established two categories for recognition under SDSI: Champion and
Partner. Champion status is the highest level of recognition offered under SDSI
and has been awarded to EcoDiscoveries for their continuing commitment to
developing eco-safe products. 

EcoDiscoveries received this high
honor because its formulations meet the stringent criteria of environmental
consideration. EcoDiscoveries products are fully biodegradable to help
protect aquatic life in both fresh and salt water. The SDSI project is part of
the Design for the Environment (DfE) certification program that helps consumers
make healthier and more environmentally safe choices about products.
