Rocking Like Hurricanes at Home and Abro
Submitted by EcoDiscove... on Wed, 07/30/2008 - 11:38am.
Two things can be said of EcoDiscoveries: our products kick serious butt, and our people rock like hurricanes. Claims must be followed by evidence. The folks at Parent Tested Parent Approved and ShapeYou.com say we’re green cleaning dream come true. But before you hear about our big fancy awards (one is even from Canada! Woo hoo!), our people rocking like hurricanes is even cooler.
Graphic design guru Chris, now dubbed Mold Ninja of the year, rescued his breathless neighbor from certain doom. The story goes like this: Chris was walking his dog, who’s a foxy little beast of the Boston Terrier variety, when they came upon the neighbor-lady and her wooly beast (a chow mix) totally out of breath. Now in Atlanta, both grandmothers in tropical shorts and four legged friends covered in mounds of black fur are likely to be out of breath due to the heat and smog. But Chris’ Mold Ninja senses alerted him that something more was going on. A water leak in his urban-chic condo complex had caused mold growth in an empty unit. The nice neighbor-lady’s unit shares a wall with the moldy empty unit. The cracker-jack maintenance folks let the problem get out of hand, leaving grandma and pooch to inhale spores. When moldy menacing is afoot, Mold Ninjas squelch spores! Chris spent his weekend fogging her condo with MoldZyme. He suited up with a mask, because Mold Ninjas know that protective gear is a must if you ever want to Mold Ninja again. He saved their lungs. Now it’s still up to the jokers in maintenance to fix the empty unit, but Chris began a pretty effective campaign for the health of the building. Please send kudos to Mold Ninja of the Year, Chris the graphic designer who rocks like a hurricane. A mold squelching hurricane of MoldZyme fogging.
And now for the other awards! EcoDiscoveries is pleased to be a winner in the first ever PTPA Green Awards. PTPA awards are presented to companies whose products are deemed exceptional by a knowledgeable and unbiased panel of experts (in Canada). This year marks the launch of the Green Awards which are designed to recognize products that provide exception safety as well as performance. Parent testers (Canadians, you know how sensible these folks must be) used Glass, Kitchen, Tub & Tile, and AirZyme in their homes and declared them all Green Winning cleaners. EcoDiscoveries products went head to head with real life messes and the parents loved them. When asked how they felt about using green products and the performance of green cleaners, the parent response was overwhelming: “I think that an eco friendly product should work as well as a non-eco friendly product, and this group of products did.” “I would even say that they clean better than some traditional cleaning products I've used in the past.” “These products have changed my thinking.” http://www.ptpamedia.com/winner_large.php?id=26
EcoDiscoveries is pleased to be a winner in the Shape You GearAwards™'. ShapeYou.com hosts annual awards for products that promote healthy living. All eight EcoDiscoveries products received an honor. The Top Gear awards went to Nursery and AirZyme. Great Gear awards went to Glass, Kitchen, Bathroom, and MultiZyme. Tub & Tile and MoldZyme both received a Seal of Excellence. The panel judges consisted of trainers, coaches, competitors, nutritionists, and health care practitioners who evaluated the products for safety and performance. http://shapeyou.com/award_categories/winners/83/healthy_home
