Calling all Green Americans!!

Get out your calendar and save the date for YES!'s Global Collaborative Day of Engagement, coming up soon on Sunday, June 28, from 2 – 6 PM at the newly opened David Brower Center in downtown Berkeley, CA.

The Global Collaborative is a peer learning community composed of 15 YES! organizing partners from 12 nations and working in a variety of fields including indigenous rights, environmental protection, and social justice.  Visit the YESworld Web site for more information about the Collaborative and individual bios of our inspiring allies, working for transformation on five continents.

At the Day of Engagement, social changemakers in the Bay Area are invited to come meet and connect with the Global Collaborative members.  The afternoon will include space to hear from and engage with the Global Collaborative members from Senegal, Egypt, Kenya, Lebanon/Palestine, India, Brazil, and beyond, and with other leaders in our US and Bay Area communities.  Then, small groups will gather for hosted dialogues on topics such as indigenous sovereignty, innovative education and community media. Green America members are warmly welcome.
