Orange Juice Cartons

I recycle anything that I can but I have never understood why orange juice cartons cannot be recycled. This really bothers me! Does anyone know why they can't be recycled? (1 vote) »

It is because the cartons have a wax coating. Most facilities aren’t able to recycle paper products that have this wax coating. However, these items can be composted. If you have food waste program in your area, you should be able to put them in there.
