Bottle Cap Liner Bowl

Jessica O

.

Every year our town has a recycled art contest. And every year I plan
to enter but always miss the deadline. So, in the midst of my busy
life, I got my act together and made this bowl. This bowl is made out
of the liners inside of coke bottle caps and hot glue. That's it! Directions
are below.

Lay down all your bottle cap liners on waxed paper into the image
above. Hot glue drops in between all the circles to connect them. Pull
off the waxed paper when dry. The glue will stick to the waxed paper
(you will have to rip all of it off). To make the shape of the bowl:

Glue 1 on top of 2 ( you'll have to bend the star to do this, refer to picture)

Glue 3 on top of 4
Glue 5 on top of 6 Done!

My staff and I spent a little time with film maker John Degraaf (Affluenza) today to screen and comment on his new film about the economy.  Pretty sobering.  Lots of facts and figures as well as comparisons about our current state and how it compa...
