I just recently began to worry about global warming and the effects of it on our planet. There is so much we can do to stop it, and the ignorance of my peers and adults I have met just begins to sicken me. There is a growing trend of going green, and it couldn't have come at a better time. When I hear people heckle me about how it is futile for me to be vegetarian and green and just a pain in the butt, I realize that I even more need to do as much as I can and inform others around me and make a change. Welcome aboard and keep up the good work!
Although I am South African and 68 years old we were both born into a culture that has had an exploitative rather than cooperative attitude to the rest of creation and it has had this attitude for millenia. The results of this wrong attitude are daily becoming more and more evident through things like global warming and ever increasing evironmental destruction.
We have got to change to working cooperatively with the rest of creation. We actually have no choice. Unfortunately very few people at present accept this, so those who do have a) got to learn how to work copperatively with the rest of creation ourselves, as a good example and b) work to convert other people.
This is a massive exercise because we have to work to change the orientation of our whole culture.
