Christmast Lights: NOT for the recycling
Submitted by rjewell on Mon, 12/17/2007 - 12:10pm.
Christmas lights don't belong in the recycling bin. They wrap around the machines that sort recyclables, causing them to become in effective. What should you do with it? Reuse is best. Donate still usable items to a community thrift. Electronics recyclers will accept cables and lights.
Items not suitable for reuse should be disposed of in the garbage. (4 votes) »
