For those of you that have been following the transformation of our Toronto Laundry Service into a 'green' one... this may surprise you as it did us.

We recently completed a substantial investment in our facility by replacing a whole stack of our older, less productive and higher energy using machines with modern, state of the art extremely efficient ones.

Our initial math showed us clearly that it was a good investment on a number of fronts. Better, newer machines equals less maintenance, less water, electrical and gas usage and a far better end product too.

Our calculations showed that our new machines should return a 35-40% total energy savings. Well.....

After two months of real data, the numbers are in...

We're saving 55% on total energy as compared to the old ones!!! And, NO MAINTENANCE which means NO OLD PARTS GOING TO LANDFILL!!!

Once again, it just goes to show that business can and should invest in new, energy efficient equipment - the environment benefits and so does the bottom line!
