As I sit in my school's computer lab between classes on this rainy Thursday afternoon, I can't help but think of what this weekend may hold for me.  As a matter of fact, this thought has consumed my mind for over the past week, and it has been difficult to redirect my thought process to that of school itself.  To say I am a bit anxious would be an understatement, as I have a job to do and I am intent on doing it well.  I am truly thankful to have been given this opportunity, and am thrilled to learn even more about how eco-friendly this event will become.  It is a new precedent as far as the Grammy's are concerned.

Given Greenopolis' dedication toward pioneering a new movement toward recycling, I cannot wait to see just how an event like this will help to perpetuate and solidify the revolution.  C'mon, it's '09, Obama is President, and an imminent change is in the near horizon.  Let's all play our parts under the sun's proscenium arch and the term "all the world's a stage" will take on a new meaning. 

Tomorrow afternoon my plan is to get to the LA Convention Center, create my credentials, walk over to the Staples Center and be introduced to all of the green products that will be given away during the weekend's festivities.  Trust I will familiarize myself with them and keep a focused eye throughout.  Needless to say, all of you will be privy to my observations as they happen.  It will surely be damn exciting!

So in the meantime, as my brain keeps running this gallant marathon, I wish everyone nothing but the best.  Let's have this year set the standards for ourselves and for all.  Equality is in individuality, and individuals make up the collective.  We only go as far as we limit ourselves, but together we can contribute to the significant change that we wish to see, and I'll see you there.  Until the next round: blessings.
