Submitted by recyclemania on Mon, 06/23/2008 - 11:57am.

Tomato
Tomato plants are supposed to keep bugs away. They stink and the scent is supposed to repel mosquitoes and black flies.

Keep mosquitoes away
The plant to keep mosquitoes away is called a pelargoium graveolens better known as a citrosa mosquito plant. They do work real good,Move the leaves a little bit and it gives off a citronella scent .Grown in canada.Don't order them by mail,They will be dead when you get them.I already tried that 2x's.I bought mine at our local price chopper grocery store.
