recycle

We recycle phone books and

We recycle phone books and cans and I am a member of our community freecycle and gotten a few things and given a lot-its great.

I have been watching to many adventure travel shows!

I have been watching too many adventure travel shows on TV. These show take you to far away, off the beating path places and you still see trash and leftover man made materials mostly plastic bottles are every where. It is amazing that there are so many every where. Plastic bottles are easy to compact and light to carry and easy to recycle. So why not carry them out to a place you can recycle them.

You see them on the side of the road, mountain tops along our lakes, rivers and oceans. Please take the time to pick them up and while you are at it smell the Roses, before they are covered with our garbage.

I recycle everything I can

We recycle all bottles, cans,(aluminum and steel) paper, plastic bags, I recycle at my town transfer station. We even have a free sote there for useable stuff. Then I use ThinkGreenFromHome.com to get Lamptracker boxes to recycle Compact flourescents, batteries, cell phone and electronics, printer cartridges, etc.

My goal is to take as little to the landfill as possible.

We also ask- do I really need that item, or can I get a used one? We also prefer products with minimal packaging. It's becoming a way of life, and is fun to do more with less!

Each of us can make a difference. Together we make THE difference!

Recycling - so improtant!!

Form me recycling is one of the most important thing to do and I do it very thoroughly.
It is just sad that big companies often don't do it even though they produce the most trasch.
I hope people are becoming more environmental friendly in the near future.
Take care!

i recycles

i recycle newpapers telephone books and can they can help out the world.

Recycle good - reuse better

I believe that while recycling is good and a very important thing for all of us to do the first step we must take before we head to the recycling bins is to stop and think as to whether we can use and reuse the item that we intend(ed) to throw.

I was brought up with that philosophy and when a kid we reworked many an piece of trash into resalable goods.
