Fast food restaurants. Help or hurt?Does eating fast food help or hurt our enviroment? I really believe it does, because all the paper bags they use? They are not recycled!

I firmly believe that fast food restaurants hurt the environment, but I wouldn’t say it is because of the paper bags they use.
Fast Food chains are in business to make money, like any other company. To keep their prices low, they have to keep their overhead low, and keep their expenses down as low as they can. This means they tend to buy their meat and produce from overseas. We all know that forests are torn down to provide farmland for cattle and corn in South America. A large portion of these crops end up in fast food chains all around the world, even here in America.
