I was looking through Yahoo's environmental section when I ran across a video done by a science teacher on Global warming. The title of the video The Most Terrifying Video You'll Ever See Here's the scoop: "Six months ago, Oregon high-school science teacher Greg Craven posted a video on YouTube in which he makes a fairly logical argument for treating climate change like the emergency it is. Let's make an action
Global warming, and also carbon emissions and other environmental damage, has to be reined in, but perhaps the cap and dividend bill isn't the way to go. As I watch the video, the only think that comes to my mind is to do an action right away. By having campaigns or advertusements will do. Global warming is really scary. I don't know what will happen to us if it will happe. What will happen to the next generation?..If we don't make an immediate action. Let us be more responsible. There is nothing wrong in avoiding the things that can cause global warming. One thing that causes global warming is electrical pollution. Electricity causes pollution in many ways, some worse than others. In most cases, fossil fuels are burned to create electricity. Fossil fuels are made of dead plants and animals. Some examples of fossil fuels are oil and petroleum. Many pollutants (chemicals that pollute the air, water, and land) are sent into the air when fossil fuels are burned. Some of these chemicals are called greenhouse gasses.

The dependence on foreign oil, especially in the recent Bush administration, hurts the U.S. economy with the roaring gas prices. That in turn affects food prices and many more. Why rely on oil? I found an amazing movie which explains all these issues very clearly, and I highly recommend watching it… and showing it at work, school, or anywhere there are large groups of people. It truly raises awareness of global warming, 9/11, and how we can turn to alternative fuel such as biofuel to save costs and moreover, combat the impeding destruction of the environment. Biofuel does not put C02 into the atmostphere like gasoline.. which causes global warming!

Drawback of globalwarming
USA and Europe in the past had many trees also (maybe not as much as a tropical forest, but they had much more than today). Now they are industrialized and don't have large florests anymore. So it is seems easy for them say don't cut the trees.
