Chances are good that your building manager is in fact recycling, because they are required by law to do so. If you have proof that your building manager is not recycling, you can report them to the Department of Sanitation.
That's absolutely right... and did you know...
You are absolutely right on that one! ... And, did you know that (depending on where you live) your apartment building owner/manager is also required by law to provide 'Energy Star' rated laundry equipment in your apartment building's laundry room?!
If they're providing old, outdated laundry machines, you can contact your local authority to find out if they can be made to replace them with more modern, energy efficient machines.
It will be better for the environment AND save them money at the same time!!! It is rare for those two to be combined into one thing so it's a win-win!
