Reduce and Reuse as much as
Reduce and Reuse as much as you can! This goes for water, food, electricity, etc. Also, talk to your parents about it. Maybe if you keep your own recycling bin you can make a deal with your parents so they can drive you to the center once a month. They might be willing to do that. If it is something you care about don't give up. try to educate your family. The best way to convert people sometimes is to get in their face about it, and always nag them about it, eventually they will catch on.
one option
If you are like most teenagers, you and your friends probably grab fastfood to eat. f you do...stop. Or at least, cut down! For example, if you eat it 4 times a week, make a point to eat it only 3 times a week, etc. The production of fastfoods have an enormous impact on the environment!
Also, you can do simple things like buy your drinks in bottles instead of cans and plastic (since you don't have an opportunity to recycle those right now). Then peel the label off of the bottle and paint them for pretty little flower vases you can give out to family during holidays and birthdays! This is a great example of REUSING materials.
There are lots of other little things you can do...the trick is just to start somewhere and then you can slowly grow from there. Nobody expects you to become 100% green overnight! THATS HARD and discouraging! Just remember...baby steps add up and when you are old enough to drive, and even move out on your own, you will already be good a being green, and you will just get better with time!!
you could just like use less
you could just like use less energy by like turning off lights and t.v.'s when you leave a room and dont use as much water in the shower. small things like that can somtimes help alot.
