240+ Home Energy Conservation Tips

Over the past year as we have collected more than 240 home energy conservation suggestions from hundreds of people across North America. We did this in an attempt to link home energy conservation with cost savings to the home owner, apartment dweller and anyone who h as to pay for monthly heating and electricity utility bills.

Of the Home Energy Conservation Tips list's 240+ suggestions of ideas used by real people, 100+ cost absolutely nothing to do, while a further 75+ cost next to nothing to do.

We want to keep growing this list so individuals can see that they do not have to just sit back and wait for government to reduce their home utility bills; that they actually have the power to reduce the amount of non-renewable resources consumed in their home, to reduce the amount of polluting emissions generated directly and indirectly through their home, which will save them money (after-tax money at that) through reduced utility bills month after month after month after month ......

This is just a list. So, we are writing about each suggestion on the list through articles on our home blog web site to also (hopefully) help clarify the different items on the list throughout January and February of this year.

If you have any home energy conservation suggestions that you use yet is not on this list, please let us know so we can keep the list current and a growing / living thing.

Now More Than 500

The above referenced collection has expanded to include clean water conservation.

In all, this Energy Savings and Water Savings collection of ideas for the home has now grown to more than 500 tips, of which:

400+ are simple and easy to do
275+ cost absolutely nothing to do
115+ cost just a little to do
120+ are clean water conservation tips
115+ are electricity usage reduction suggestions
110+ are home heating (in the winter) savings tips
80+ are home cooling (in the summer) tips

With all of the simple, no cost and low cost ideas submitted by hundreds of people across America, there's no reason or excuse for any household to access the free listing to begin to reduce their home's utility bills to save money ... oh, and at the same time reduce polluting emmisions they generate in the air or their consumption of non-renewable and / or scarce natural resources.
