The Magnificent Seven: 7 Top Materials To Use And Recycle!

Last week we introduced you to the 7 Deadly Sins:  the materials to avoid wherever possible. But what materials should we be using?

Happy Birthday, Dad and EPA!

Today is my father’s 83rd birthday, and the 40th birthday of the Environmental Protection Agency.

Both have been instrumental in my ecological journey. My dad taught me woodlore; to hunt, fish, plant trees and conserve natural resources. You might say he is a Teddy Roosevelt style environmentalist.

Green Pride

Location

Once a week until the start of summer wear green. Whether it's in your school, at work, or a club, decide upon a day where everyone who is proud to work to live a greener life will wear green. If you would like- make uniform t-shirts and come up with your own logo. The more people who wear green on that certain day, the more people will ask what's up. Try and be as uniform as possible because other people recognize trends. It's fun and it gets people involved in their environment.

How much of your waste do you recycle?
