to share information about evolving understandings regarding sustainability About MeIconoclastic, compassionate progressive, seeks planet to love and care for. Desires unlimited partners for long term social change. How I came to care about being "green"I am a child of the late sixties, heavily influenced by the early environmental movement, deep ecology, bioregionalism and indigenous understandings of our relationship with Mama Gaia. I have lived or worked in forty five countries, and seen the impacts of global warming, toxic factories, gold mining and oil and gas development throughout Asia, Africa, Latin America and here in the USA. We have made some gains and a lot of losses. If we all don't get with the program there will be little left to green in another two generations. I have a sustainability background inwall street lawyer, international indigenous and environmental lawyer and activist, fair trader, organic gardener and coffee roaster, people-centered development acolyte and practitioner, nuts and bolts home-grown engineer (developed radical new air quality technology here at the beanery), solar freak (tans and power generation), worked on BioGas systems in India and Iran in the seventies (before you were born!). I am affiliated with:CEO, Dean's Beans Organic Coffee; Co-Founder, Cooperative Coffees,Inc.; Co-founder, Coffee Kids, Inc. This user has no open Free'N Exchange items.
