LivGreene randomly showed up on my AIM, and I just had to join! I'm always looking for new green living information sites all the time, and this one definitely appealed to me! 
About MeI'm a culinary arts student at Elgin Community College where I will pursue my education as a Pastry Chef. From there I hope to one day open my own establishment, hopefully 100% organic, so more consumers can understand the importance of purchasing locally grown, pesiticide-free products and why it is better for the Earth as well as their health! I've always had a niche for recycling and organic eating, but my mom is the one who pushed me to become more and more green everyday. Without her efforts when I was a careless teen in high school, I wouldn't have gained the knowledge I have received from the endless number of seminars, events, and classes that have taught me about the environment, and its dependence upon us to help!
