I have read plenty on the bacteria from reusing plastic water bottles! I will never touch a plastic water bottle again! Even the dishwasher doesn't remove the bacteria!
My sister got me a Naglene (sp) bottle for my birthday. It is one of the new ones that isn't going to kill me! Love it when I go hiking. At home I have a Brita pitcher. At work I have a glass just like at home. The company gets 5 gallon water bottles delivered. Those have a bigger opening and be clean effectively.
I splurged on a stainless
I splurged on a stainless steel water bottle. It holds 12 fl. oz. at a time--ideal for lasting through that first 30 minutes of cardio!

psst! you don't even have to ask! just come look in my mini fridge, nothing but refilled water bottles. I even take off the little logo paper thing, and write little green stuff on it like "reduce, reuse, recycle". but i don't like saying "yah" , its an uber major pet peeve of mine.
