I think we're supposed to

I think we're supposed to eat meat, but a lot of meats are completely unhealthy for you and the meat industry has a huge impact on the environment. I'm not going to stop eating the little meat I do eat to replace it with unhealthy food of a different caliber made by another monstrous industry. That may not be what most of you vegetarians do, but a lot of the vegetarians in my area will not eat meat, but by all means anything else is fair game, and their reasons are they don't want to kill, but a plant has even less of a voice than an animal and it is the natural cycle of life.

I shouldn't eat any meat at all, and really stick completely with all natural foods that were grown locally and what not, but I just don't have an appetite for enough fruits and veggies now, and my parents make me pay for food that only I will eat, so it's usually cheaper to get the mac and cheese and blah blah.

Aw isn't Inuyasha adorable?? =)

i believe that everyone should be a vegan... my mom helps me to pay for the food i need to keep my body's needs in tact... it's very good for you, and it can give you some respect...!

I don't yet have the

I don't yet have the willpower or funds to switch to vegan quite yet. I haven't found a milk substitute that I really like quite yet, either, though I'm still searching. Just cutting out meat does so much to reduce your carbon footprint, increase your overall health, and it makes a statement about how animals should be treated as well. GO VEG!

guilty

I know, I know, I know...hanging head in guilt! The least I can do (and DO do...don't laugh) is buy my bacon from a locally-owned market that supplies local bacon where the pig has not been given antibiotics or hormones, is allowed to eat a natural diet, and (claims) to be cruelty-free...it is $9.00 a pack SERIOUSLY! So I only get it as a treat...

sorry pigs...

but I LOVE bacon...can't NOT eat it...a good BLT with fresh organic tomatoes and fresh BASIL! Try it with big, crisp basil leaves picked from your garden...my southern grandmother tought me to eat a BLT this way and it is irresitable!!!!!!!

sorry pigs...

I'll have to try that with basil. I have a new herb garden, and the basil is really taking off.

‘Tis the season for autumn leaves, a crisp breeze and every magazine in America talking about a fall fashion overhaul. Obviously, the most eco-friendly thing to do would be to disregard the hype and dust off last year’s sweaters, but let’s ...
