This half-pint of a vehicle is the pioneering UK entry for an Eco-Marathon which took place in Germany today. With an engine better suited for a Weedwacker, the car can travel up to 50 miles using only a cola can amount of fuel.
The body--held together with gaffer tape and nylon ties--is made from the same plastic used for 'for sale' signs. The car has been so fine tuned that even the cogs which turn the drive-belt have been ligthened, drilled and polished. And while you might get far on that can of fuel, keep in mind that you won't get there fast: the car tops out around 12 mph.
