Building upon Vermont's environmental leadership, the Institute for Global Sustainability will prepare global problem solvers to help re-envision and redesign our world through a multitude of courses (offered both on-campus and online) and stimulating events and activities. On the shores of magnificent Lake Champlain, cradled between the Green and Adirondack Mountains, surrounded by farms and forests, touched by streams and rivers and uniquely impacted by daily and seasonal rhythms, the Institute for Global Sustainability is set in the heart of an environmental playground. You'll be drawn into this playground by a variety of recreational opportunities while you take advantage of opportunities like:
