Organic flowers are grown sustainably. They are raised without harmful pesticides and toxic fertilizers. Conventionally raised flowers are heavily sprayed with pesticides and toxic fertilizers contributing to water and soil pollution. Not to mention harmful to the workers that harvest them and potentially harmful to those who receive them. Choose organic when possible for the sustainable choice.

Melissa McGinnis and Greenopolis TV visit the Charlie Hoffman Foundation Pro-Am Golf Tournament for some recycling tips from the pros. Taking place at the beautiful Del Mar Country Club in Rancho Santa Fe, CA this tournament draws a lot of influentials, celebrities and pro golfers. PGA Pro Charley Hoffman started the foundation and organized the successful day and evening auctions. The mission of the Foundation and is to help raise money and awareness for childrens organizations that provide a positive environment to better their future through education, sports, and health.

Despite our best efforts, the global catch of wild fish leveled off over 20 years ago and 70 percent of the world's fisheries are being harvested at capacity or are in decline.
