Do you ever run into this dilemma: What to do with a left-over pizza box? Do you recycle it, or do you throw it away?

Well recently, Melissa got a 2 for 1 deal at her local pizzeria because she used a hundred points to redeem a coupon from the http://Greenopolis.com rewards bank! And then Melissa was left with some pizza boxes to deal with. She went online and found out that bizza boxes are really not recyclable if they are soiled with any pizza left-overs (like cheese, toppings, and oil).

Here's a tip: when ordering a pizza to go, ask your pizza box to be lined with aluminum foil. This will catch all of the pizza drippings, and keep your box clean, and when you're finished you can wash the aluminum foil, recycle the aluminum foil, and feel good about recycling that pizza box! Check with your local residential recycler to make sure they accept cardboard - most do. If not, you might want to hold on to it and take it to a commercial recycling site, but in any case, try to keep your pizza box clean because most likely, its recyclable in your neighborhood. It makes pizza a whole lot more fun!
