Recycling Roundup @ Sun Life Stadium

Melissa McGinnis visits Sun Life Stadium in Miami for the Recycling Round up day. Hundreds of volunteers worked the tailgating section of the stadium to encourage people to recycle on that day as well as to think about always recycling in the future, no matter what activity you are participating in. Bags were dropped off to separate recyclables from trash and then later picked up by the volunteers. The volunteers were passionate about getting as much recyclables as possible as well as educating the game goers about why keeping your trash off the street helps to protect our oceans and our wildlife. Recycling helps cut down on air pollution and oil consumption by re-using materials as opposed to developing new materials from virgin plastic and glass... Go Dolphins!
