Raise a child Buddhist, surround him by a family of english majors, and add in the book “50 ways to Save the Planet” at age 15, and you’ve got Waylon Lewis. As the founder of elephant journal, elephantjournal dot com, and "elevision," the online talk show that raked in over 100,000 views in it's first year, Waylon can be quite a workaholic. Born in Boulder, CO, Waylon graduated from Boston University's top–ranked magazine journalism school. He is a passionate environmentalist, daily bike commuter, mediocre climber and lazy yogi. His magazine, Elephant Journal – “Your guide to ‘the mindful life,’ combines yoga + organics + sustainability + buddahkarma + conscious consumerism + the arts + ecofashion.
